• High school football roundup: Gig Harbor earns signature win against Lincoln (thenewstribune.com) — Gig Harbor High's football team edged Lincoln 31-28 on Friday in Tacoma, capped by a clutch 28-yard field goal from junior kicker Caleb Kalafatich. The Tides controlled much of the game with strong edge rushing and timely defense, bouncing back from their Fish Bowl loss and strengthening their South Sound standing heading into the rest of the season.
