• Prep Track Roundup: Elma's Guadarrama, Montesano's Schweppe lead locals at Spudder Classic (thedailyworld.com) — Hoquiam track and field athletes turned in strong performances at the Spudder Classic, highlighted by sprinter RenaèJah Burtenshaw’s 100-meter win and Sydney Gordon’s shot put title and discus personal best. Several Hoquiam runners and relay teams also placed well across sprints, distance, and field events, giving local fans plenty to cheer about as postseason competition approaches.
