• Family Sues Tesla After Model X Allegedly Surged Through Red Light (carscoops.com) — A Kirkland father and his teenage daughter say their Tesla Model X suddenly accelerated from a red light at 144th Street NE and 124th Avenue NE in June 2023, crashing into a curb and causing injuries. They're now suing Tesla, alleging its driver-assistance technology triggered the surge and blocked their efforts to regain control, with onboard vehicle data expected to play a key role in resolving the case.
