• Auburn hires Kent city prosecutor as municipal judge (kentreporter.com) — Kirkland residents may recognize Sara Watson, who has previously served as a judge pro-tem in the city, as she's now been appointed one of two judges for Auburn's new municipal court opening in January. The longtime Kent prosecutor and former public defender has worked in several King County cities, bringing broad courtroom and court-management experience to her new role.
