Special Hours For Seniors At Kirkland Parks
Kirkland officials are asking residents to reserve use of five city parks for the most vulnerable residents on three mornings each week.
KIRKLAND, WA โ The city of Kirkland is asking residents to limit morning hours at five parks to seniors and those in high-risk groups for COVID-19, beginning Monday, July 20.
The priority hours will be in place until Labor Day on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m., at the following city parks:
- Juanita Bay
- 132nd Square Park
- Everest Park
- Edith Moulton Park
- Spinney Homestead Park
City officials said the priority hours are meant to provide opportunities for those most susceptible to coronavirus complications to participate in outdoor activities. Signs will be posted at each park, reminding visitors of the priority hours.
