• State Fire Mobilization supports 12 incidents in North Central Washington (leavenworthecho.com) — Kittitas County is among many Eastern and Central Washington counties that received support from the state's All-Risk Mobilization Program during the 2026 wildfire season. The program helps local fire agencies when incidents outstrip their resources, coordinating extra crews, equipment and reimbursement as part of 46 mobilizations funded through the state's Disaster Response Account.
