Chambers Creek Canyon Trail Updgrades: Open House On Wednesday
The Wednesday open house is for the public to learn about the proposed trail upgrades at the park between Lakewood and University Place.

LAKEWOOD, WA - Pierce County will hold an open house Wednesday night to preview proposed upgrades to the trails running through Chambers Creek Canyon between Lakewood and University Place. The Chambers Creek Canyon trail begins at Chambers Bay and runs east up Chambers Creek. A second section of trail extends through the canyon near Kobayashi Park in University Place.
A plan developed by Pierce County and the two cities would better connect the existing sections of trail. The open house takes place beginning at 5:30 p.m. at the Chambers Creek Regional Park environmental services building at 9850 64th Street Southwest in University Place.
