Lakewood Man Faces Felony Charges After Lewis County Bomb Threat

The Lewis County Sheriff's Office will refer criminal charges after a bomb threat prompted the evacuation of court offices last week.

CHEHALIS, WA — The Lewis County Sheriff's Office is potential felony charges after a bomb threat evacuated the Law and Justice Building in Chehalis last week. According to the Olympian, the complex — which houses two courts, the sheriff's office, and the county jail — was evacuated on Dec. 18 after a man called in a threat to the prosecutor's office. The jail was placed into lockdown.

Thursday, the sheriff's office identified Lakewood man Christopher Bosarge, 22, as the man they suspected of placing the call. Investigators said Borsage was arrested on an unrelated warrant and admitted he made the call due to ongoing legal proceedings in the county.

"This incident caused a great deal of alarm to the public and the employees of Lewis County," Sheriff Robert Snaza said in a statement. "The threat created a major disruption in the services provided by the individual offices housed in the Law and Justice Building."
