While the alleged crime occurred in California, the pair were living off Mission and Appleway in Liberty Lake when a regional task force moved in. Residents may notice increased police activity tied to their extradition.
   

• Nancy Cutler (sheridanmedia.com) — Liberty Lake is mourning longtime resident Nancy Danette Cutler, who passed away on April 18, 2026, after moving here with her husband Calvin in 2008. She is remembered by her daughter and grandchildren in Liberty Lake, as well as extended family across the region, with a memorial service planned for May 28 at Champion Kane Funeral Home.
