• Lynden softball secures second straight district title (cascadiadaily.com) — Lynden High School softball has captured its second straight 2A District 1 title, edging Burlington-Edison 2-1 in a tense rematch at Bender Fields. Strong pitching from Callie Ramerman and key baserunning from Sarah McVie and Campbell DeJong secured the win, sending the Lions on to the state tournament later this month.
