Do you know what information is needed if a loved one is missing? Whether it is a child or an adult with autism, dementia or Alzheimers, law enforcement will want things like pictures, a physical description, friends, medication list, and more. During a stressing time these can seem impossible questions and items that need to be collected quickly may be elusive. The Everett Elks (2802 Hoyt, Everett) has an EZ ID Kit that provides a solution to the problem- the information is collected on a memory stick. Sunday, Nov.8 from 9am to 5pm Elks members will welcome parents/guardians and the loved ones and provide data sheets that will be entered into a stand-alone computer system. Each loved one will be weighed and measured, all 10 fingerprints done, have pictures taken and a short video of them answering questions like “who are your best friends” and “where would you go if you were upset”. Everything is put on the memory stick and it is given (free of charge) to the parent/guardian and all papers are returned. All information about the person is erased from the computer before the next entry begins. Each person takes about 15 min.
