• Upcoming light rail maintenance may impact commute on Sound Transit (kiro7.com) — Mercer Island light rail riders face several late-night service changes this September, including single-track operations between Mercer Island and South Bellevue that will shift all boarding to one platform. Additional nights will see shuttle buses replacing trains on parts of the 1 and 2 Lines, plus rail maintenance that could subtly affect trips. Sound Transit urges riders to check alerts and plan ahead.
