Moses Lake Adventist Church finished after 20-plus years (bellinghamherald.com) — Moses Lake’s Seventh-day Adventist congregation has finally completed its long-awaited church building on West Valley Road, across from the Grant County Fairgrounds, after more than 20 years of effort. Members describe a series of timely donations, discounted work, and community-supported garage sales that helped finish the sanctuary, which now seats about 300 people and hosted its first service on April 25.

BBCC's Franz and Richards given Trustee Emeritus status (columbiabasinherald.com) — Moses Lake’s Big Bend Community College has honored longtime trustees Anna Franz and Juanita Richards with Trustee Emeritus status for their years of leadership and service. Their work on budgets, accreditation, presidential transitions, and policy helped guide BBCC through enrollment shifts, statewide system changes, and the COVID-19 pandemic, shaping the college experience for local students and families.

3. Road Report: Road construction starting to ramp up (columbiabasinherald.com) — Expect lane closures and sidewalk detours at Knolls Vista Drive and North Stratford Road in Moses Lake as crews build a safer, ADA-compliant crosswalk through May 11. Drivers will also see night work and delays on I-90 between Moses Lake and Vantage as a major repaving project continues.

Wheat Line bus starts May 1 linking Pasco, Moses Lake and Spokane (khq.com) — Moses Lake residents now have a new bus option connecting the city with Pasco, Spokane, airports, and other regional hubs via the Wheat Line, starting today. The route stops at the Moses Lake Multimodal Transit Center and links to Grant Transit, making longer trips for work, school, or medical appointments easier without driving.
