• Cantwell Meets Artemis II Crew & Presents Senate Resolution Honoring Their Historic Journey Around the Moon (gorgenewscenter.com) — Mukilteo’s Karman Space & Defense is getting national attention for building Orion spacecraft components used on NASA’s Artemis II mission, which recently carried astronauts around the moon. Sen. Maria Cantwell highlighted the Mukilteo campus during meetings with the crew and in pushing a NASA bill that supports future lunar exploration and Washington’s growing space economy. 
• Northshore to end school resource officer program at Bothell High School (heraldnet.com) — Mukilteo schools are among the Snohomish County districts that still use school resource officers, even as Northshore just voted to end its SRO contract at Bothell High School after more than 30 years.
