• Glasair plane crashes at Everett's Paine Field, killing pilot (lynnwoodtimes.com) — A small Glasair airplane crashed in woods just west of Paine Field’s main runway Thursday afternoon, killing the pilot and briefly closing the airport. Mukilteo Fire crews helped quickly extinguish the flames, while federal investigators now work to determine what caused the fatal crash and the medical examiner prepares to identify the victim.
