• SEWE names Rebecca Proctor as 2027 featured artist (abcnews4.com) — A fourth-generation artist from Newport Rebecca Proctor, has been chosen as the 2027 Featured Artist for the prestigious Southeastern Wildlife Exposition in Charleston. Her painting "The Pursuit" will be the event's official featured artwork, showcased on posters and auctioned during the VIP Gala, marking a milestone as SEWE's first second-generation Featured Artist.
