Deputies say 21-year-old Brandon Torres-Mesa faces murder and firearm charges, and they urge anyone who sees him or knows his whereabouts to call 911 immediately.

Pierce County woman hospitalized after DUI crash (thenewstribune.com) — A woman was hospitalized after an early-morning crash on State Route 7 over State Route 512 near Parkland, where troopers say a Tacoma driver suspected of DUI struck her car. The collision blocked the roadway for just over an hour, and the investigation into what led up to the wreck is still ongoing.
