• Public comment period open on NOAA draft plan (peninsuladailynews.com) — Residents near Port Angeles East now have a chance to weigh in on how the Olympic Coast National Marine Sanctuary will be managed for the next five to ten years. NOAA has opened a 60-day public comment period through July 11, with comments accepted online or by mail to its Port Angeles office. This review could shape protections and uses along Washington’s outer coast.
