• Molester gets 11 years, lifetime supervision (ptleader.com) — A Port Ludlow man has been sentenced to more than 11 years in prison, followed by lifetime supervision and sex offender registration, after a Jefferson County jury convicted him of serious child molestation charges and bail jumping. Prosecutors said the exceptional sentence reflects the victim’s courage in testifying and the court’s recognition of the lasting harm caused, and emphasized their commitment to protecting local children.
