Hood Canal Double-Motorcycle Crash Leaves Puyallup Man Dead
Two motorcyclists collided Saturday afternoon in a double-fatal crash along US 101.
BRINNON, WA — A 65-year-old Puyallup man died Saturday afternoon in a crash with another motorcyclist along US 101 near Brinnon, according to Washington State Patrol.
According to police, a 71-year-old motorcyclist from Olympia was heading northbound just before noon when he crossed the center line at a sharp curve near Fulton Creek Road. He collided with Gary K. Francis, of Puyallup, who was headed southbound. Both men were ejected from their bikes, police said.
The two deaths followed a DUI crash in Renton early Saturday morning that left a motorcyclist dead. Another motorcyclist died in a crash along I-5 in Tacoma just after 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, according to WSP.
