Logan Lewis Celebration Planned For Saturday In Puyallup
The family of Logan Lewis is hosting a memorial and celebration for the teen, who recently died of cancer.

PUYALLUP, WA - The community is invited to attend a celebration of the life of Logan Lewis, a local cancer-fighting icon.
Lewis, 15, died March 7 from complications related to neuroblastoma. Lewis was first diagnosed with cancer in 2007 at age 5. He chance of survival was slim, but Lewis beat the odds, and his cancer went into remission. The first Loganfest was held during Lewis' initial battle with cancer and raised $100,000 for cancer research.
Loganfest fundraisers continued for nine years, including after his cancer returned in 2015. The tenth Loganfest was scheduled for this March. Lewis celebrated his 15th birthday on Jan. 19.

The celebration will take place on Saturday at Kalles Junior High School, 501 7th Ave Southeast, Puyallup, beginning at 2 p.m. Family and friends will share memories of Lewis and what it means to be #loganstrong.
Separately, Lewis' family has an ongoing GoFundMe fundraiser to help his family pay for expenses related to his care.
