Man Abducted At Gunpoint, Puyallup Detectives Seek Suspects
The victim told police two masked men forced him to drive from Puyallup to Lakewood in an attempt to get money from his bank accounts.

PUYALLUP, WA — The Puyallup Police Department is asking for help identifying two men suspected in a kidnapping and attempted robbery early Thursday morning. Investigators said a man was sitting in his car, in the driveway of his downtown Puyallup home, when two masked men got inside.
The victim told investigators the men pointed handguns at him and demanded money, which he did not have. According to police, the suspects asked the man to get money from someone inside the house, but he deflected by telling them there was a dog and large men inside.
Detectives said the suspects forced the victim to drive toward Lakewood, where they asked him to withdraw money from ATMs at several locations.

Police said the victim is from Hong Kong originally and convinced the men that his foreign debit card was not working correctly. According to detectives, the suspects told the man to call friends and attempt to get money from them. Police said one friend agreed and went to meet the man at a Holiday Inn Express, where he was able to escape.
The victim told police the suspects left with his vehicle. It was later found near the man's home, off West Pioneer Avenue.

Detectives said the victim overheard the men talking about robbing others, and witnessed them make two attempts to do so while he was with them.
Police shared two images of a suspect they said was seen on surveillance near one of the ATM sites.

Suspect descriptions:
- Police said the first suspect was described as a black man with a lighter complexion, approximately 20 years old, 5 feet, 9 inches tall, with a medium build. He was wearing a black hoodie and a ski mask during the crime.
- The victim described the second suspect as a black man with a darker complexion, 5 feet, 9 inches tall, with a slight build. Police said he was wearing a dark blue hoodie and a black ski mask.
