Miniature Ponies Will Help Pierce County Library Celebrate 25th Anniversary

The Graham Library is throwing a celebration for its 25th anniversary on Aug. 26.

Join in and celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Graham Pierce County Library on Aug. 26, 10 a.m.—4 p.m. at the Graham Library, 9202 224th St. E., Graham, WA 98338. The all-ages, community celebration will include miniature pony visits, a performance by Xakary the Magician, and the opening of a 1992 time capsule. Also, Lawrence “Andy” Anderson author of “In the Shadow of the Mountain” will give a talk on the history of Graham.

“You build it and they will come…indeed that’s what happened with the Graham Library,” said Georgia Lomax, executive director for the Library System. “The library has been a central community connector since it opened 25 years ago. We are very happy that we are meeting the many learning and enjoyment needs in Graham. And, I thank the community for its out-pouring of love and support for their library.”
