Patch Photo Of The Week: Welcome Back, Mt. Rainier

Puyallup resident Tiffany Brundage captured a shot of our long-lost friend, Mt. Rainier.

PUYALLUP, WA - This week's Patch.com photo of the week is brought to you by Tiffany Brundage of Puyallup. She snapped this photo of Mt. Rainier on March 31 near Wildwood Park. You might've forgotten about it, but Mt. Rainier is the giant volcano that - when it's not rainy - looms in the background of every vista from Edmonds to Gig Harbor.

But seriously, since Oct. 1, there have been 139 days with measurable precipitation, according to the National Weather Service; and on days with rain, you likely won't see Mt. Rainier. At Paradise, snow depth is about 153 inches (almost 13 feet), which is about 121 percent of average snow totals.
