Puyallup Shooting: 1 Dead, Suspect In Custody
Puyallup police say a man shot and killed his adult step-son Thursday afternoon.
PUYALLUP, WA — Police have reported a deadly shooting in Puyallup Thursday afternoon.
According to the Puyallup Police Department, one person was shot and killed in the 2700 block of 9th Avenue SW, just before 4p.m.

Officers say they captured a suspected shooter at the scene, and after investigating found that the suspected shooter, a 76-year-old man, had shot and killed a 32-year-old man with a shotgun.
At the time, police dispatchers were told that the shooter was the victim's father, but after further investigation, officers say they found that the 76-year-old man was in fact the step-father of the victim.

Otherwise, not much else is known about the shooting, including what sparked the shooting in the first place.
