DV Assault 4th Degree, Exposing a minor to DV, Bradley Lake Park
A father was attending his 4-year old son’s birthday with family at the park when he lost it over his mother-in-law giving the child a present after she was told not to do so. Tempers skyrocketed into a verbal exchange, and the 4-year old tore out of the area running away and up a grassy hill nearby (perhaps to escape to another birthday party). When the father caught him, he grabbed his arm and set him down firmly on the table still angry. Seeing the party deteriorating rapidly, the mother stepped in trying to calm the father. He grabbed her by the collar and starting to shake her around until she escaped. The father let out just one more burst of party fail by drop kicking the BBQ before he stormed off and walked to Good Samaritan Hospital for his sore foot. The victim drove home to Bonney Lake before she called PD. Units contacted the father at the hospital and placed him into custody.
