To whom it may concern,
My husband and I rented our home in Lacey to Octavia Rivera and Jesse Kautz. The first check came from the Puyallup Tribe of Indians, payable to our property manager, Fairway Real Estate, in the amount of $1200.00. We had completely redone the home including new shower fixtures, flooring, carpeting, light fixtures and appliances. All was well for a time, then we had late rent, habitually short rent, but continued to try to work with them. After receiving a check on a closed account (a felony), we started eviction proceedings. They tried to say they were late on the rent because the house was uninhabitable due to mold (which was a lie), and they never had garbage pick up, which was in their contract, so they brought rats to our home. After paying the attorney fees and the court fees to have them evicted, they cleaned us out. They took our new convection oven, our washer and dryer, our new lawnmower, shower heads, shower curtains ,dining room curtains and rods, mirrors, the grate to our fireplace, and completely trashed brand new carpet that they were the first tenants with. They also tore out all the laundry room shelving (with out even taking the screws out first). They punched holes in the back of the bedroom doors, and punched dents in the metal front door, both inside and out. They broke our fence, and did not maintain any of the landscaping. A friend of hers jokes about it on FB, saying "I know what you did before you left, LOL" Really???
She also advertises that she has storage lockers full...I wonder how many other people have been robbed! Please, if you have a heart and will help do the right thing, pls contact me!
