Volunteer Opportunities

City residents interested in serving in a voluntary capacity on one of the city’s boards and commissions are encouraged to submit an application for the following open positions:

Civil Service Commission (2), Council Salary Review Commission (3), Design Review and Historic Preservation Board (4), Library Board (1), Lodging Tax Advisory Committee (6) (specific qualifications), Parks and Recreation Board (3), Planning Commission (2) and Senior Advisory Board (4).

Additional information on the scope and purpose of the various boards may be found on the city’s website at cityofpuyallup.org. Applications shall be submitted via the online application no later than 5:00 p.m., Friday, January 24, 2020. Contact the City Clerk’s Office at 253-841-5480 for additional information.
