10 Sickened In Redmond With CO Poisoning Recovering
The 10 victims were taken to local hospitals early Sunday morning during an accidental carbon monoxide release.

REDMOND, WA - The 10 people sickened by carbon monoxide poisoning early Sunday morning in Redmond have all been released from the hospital and are recovery, according to city officials. The incident happened in the Education Hill area, and a car left idling in a garage might be the cause.
Around 1:15 a.m. Sunday, a resident of a townhome along the 16400 block of 91st Street called 911 to report that people living in the home suddenly became sick and unconscious. Six people in one unit alone were affected.
Redmond police and fire evacuated the entire townhome complex. It is unknown if the homes were equipped with carbon monoxide detectors. Redmond public safety employees urged the public to be aware of the dangers of carbon monoxide, which is a colorless, odorless, and tasteless gas.
