'Beaten and Choked,' Redmond Woman Describes Marymoor Attack

Police are still looking for the man who committed the August attack.

REDMOND, WA - A Redmond woman who was choked and beaten while walking her dog in Marymoor Park in early August is talking publicly about the attack.

Lisa - a pseudonym - told Fox Q13 that the man dragged her off a path and into the bushes. He threatened to kill her if she didn't stop screaming. She believes his goal was to sexually assault her, but the attacker fled after he heard other people in the vicinity. Lisa suffered bruises and a dislocated elbow.

King County Sheriff's Spokesperson Sgt. Cindy West told Q13 that police are still looking for the attacker. He is described as a white male, mid-40s, a tattoo on one arm, and having "very blue eyes."
