Urgently Seeking 4 Host Families in Redmond for Japanese Students (7/31- 8/11)

Open your heart and home to the world this summer!

We are seeking four welcoming local families to host Japanese exchange students (boys and girls, ages 14-15).  They will be visiting our community for a short-term cultural program from Friday, July 31st to Tuesday, August 11th.  

A stipend is provided to help offset food and gas costs.  However, we are primarily looking for families driven by genuine hospitality, a love for cultural exchange, and a desire to make a lasting global connection.

Host Family Requirements:

• - Live within commuting distance of Redmond.
• - Provide a safe private or shared bedroom.
• - Provide daily meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner).
• - Handle morning drop-offs and evening pick-ups at our hub: 2205 152nd Ave NE, Redmond, WA
• - Pass a standard background check (required for student safety)

The students speak some English, carry their own insurance, and bring their own spending money.  They want to experience everyday American family life, so no expensive activities are required!
