• WA minimum wage will rise to $17.73 an hour in 2027 (seattleweekly.com) — Renton workers and employers should prepare for Washington's minimum wage to rise to $17.73 an hour on Jan. 1, 2027, which also boosts salary thresholds for overtime-exempt employees. Renton already has a higher local minimum wage, but this statewide increase will still affect teen pay rates and some salaried workers' overtime eligibility.
