Renton Woman Hit By DUI Driver Will Be Taken Off Life Support
Taylor Marie Goehring's mother said Tuesday morning she will be allowed to "pass comfortably" due to the severity of her injuries.

RENTON, WA - A 23-year-old bicyclist who was hit by an impaired driver Dec. 7 along Rainier Avenue will be allowed to pass away, according to her family. Taylor Marie Goehring was allegedly hit by Vern A. Henderson, 44, a man with four DUI convictions.
Goehring's mother, Sheree Maricle Warner, said Tuesday morning that her daughter's brain damage is too severe to repair.
"I want to thank everyone for their prayers and wonderful sentiments. With a heavy heart I'm so sad to say that Taylor's brain damage is so severe that we have chosen to let her pass comfortably," she wrote on Facebook. "I know her bestie, her grandma will be waiting for her in heaven. We are taking today to allow people who love her to say their goodbyes. Please know that all money raised on the gofundme will go towards travel and burial expenses. We will have a celebration of life for her in the Springtime."
