Row for a Day

This is a fun and easy-going way to learn the basics of rowing without making a big commitment. Participants will tour the boathouse, get a quick course in indoor rowing (erging), along with the basics of the rowing stroke and brief overview of the equipment used and programs offered at the Renton Rowing Center. The visit culminates with an on-the-water rowing experience (weather permitting). The Row for a Day class may be your first step toward pursing a new favorite sport or simply a unique and fun weekend activity for individuals, couples, friends, visiting family, bachelorette parties, or even a memorable first date! This class is typically offered once a month on either a Saturday or Sunday and runs for 3 hours.
