Sunshine Inspiration Delivered On A Page

Summer is here. That means beautiful days, warm temperatures, fun activities...How do you bring sunshine when the weather doesn't show it?

Whether you are a child or an adult, we all must admit that we look forward to the summer. June represents the official start of summer, and that means an end to school terms, warmer temperatures, more sunlight hours, vacations...many hold their breath as the countdown approaches and it finally arrives. But, what happens when the time arrives and the weather isn't in agreement? You mentally don't feel the excitement, and cannot get out of the funk. Sometimes, when the happiness doesn't come to you, you may need to discover another path for it to reach you. One way I bring it to me is by reading a set of what I call my sunshine quotes to get my day on a path to positivity.

  • "Great things happen to those who don't stop believing, trying, learning, and being grateful." ― Roy T. Bennett
  • "Happiness is not by chance but by choice." — Jim Rohn
  • “Try to be a rainbow in someone else’s cloud.” — Maya Angelou
  • “In every day, there are 1,440 minutes. That means we have 1,440 daily opportunities to make a positive impact.” — Les Brown
  • “Optimism is a happiness magnet. If you stay positive good things and good people will be drawn to you.” – Mary Lou Retton
  • “When I’m not feeling my best I ask myself, "What are you gonna do about it?” I use the negativity to fuel the transformation into a better me.” ― Beyonce
  • "Life is like a bicycle. To keep your balance, you must keep moving." — Albert Einstein
  • “The way I see it, if you want the rainbow, you gotta put up with the rain!” — Dolly Parton
  • "Be so happy that, when other people look at you, they become happy too." — Anonymous
  • “Be the change that you wish to see in the world.” — Mahatma Gandhi

So as a reminder when you are not feeling in the right mood, and the weather doesn't help things- you can bring about a change. By keeping your sunshine on paper and available, the brightness can be put back in to your day easily.
