• Coroner identifies driver who died in head-on collision near Tenino on May 18 (chronline.com) — A 75-year-old Rochester resident, James “Jim” Emerson, has been identified as the driver who died in a May 18 head-on collision with a dump truck near Tenino on Old Highway 99 SE. The coroner ruled his death accidental from multiple blunt force injuries, while the dump truck driver survived and was taken to a local hospital.
