11 People Rescued From Snoqualmie River Wednesday
Firefighters launched two separate rescue missions Wednesday night to save a total of 11 people.

FALL CITY, WA - A total of 11 people were rescued from the Snoqualmie River Wednesday night in two separate rescue missions, according to firefighters.
The first rescue happened around 6 p.m. when Duvall firefighters were called to save four people clinging to a tree in the middle of the river. Three of the people were rescued using ropes, but a fourth person had to be rescued via Marine 66, the department's river rescue boat.

Then, around 10 p.m., a group of seven people had to be plucked from a sand bar in the middle of the river. Those people were saved via Marine 66, according to Duvall fire.
