3.4 Magnitude Earthquake Confirmed Near Fall City
Hundreds reported feeling the quake, which was centered about 3.6 miles northeast of Fall City.

SNOQUALMIE, WA — A magnitude 3.4 earthquake struck a few miles northeast of Fall City Wednesday evening, according to the Pacific Northwest Seismic Network. The United States Geological Survey said several dozen people reported feeling light shaking in east King County around 7:10 p.m. According to the PNSN's official reporting system, a majority of those who said they felt the quake lived in Snoqualmie, Fall City, Carnation and Issaquah.
The Snoqualmie Police Department posted on social media requesting people not call 911 unless there was an emergency. Residents were advised to check home and business alarms, which may have activated during the quake.
Fall City is located about 26 miles east of Seattle.
