The Eastlake High School Dance Team became state champions in the 4A Dance & Drill Competition on Saturday, March 23 at the Yakima Valley SunDome.
The team captured first place in the Dance category earning the highest score of the entire day (and a top, superior rating.)
Eastlake took second place in the pom category, also receiving a top superior score and they placed fourth in kick. This is the third year in a row that they have won a state championship.

Last year the team came in first in pom and third in Dance.
The Eastlake Dance Team is coached by Corinne Cope and Catherine Dubois Boutet. The officers are Jenna Burke, Amanda Jordan, Amanda Ulkekul and Nicole Russo.
