Mother's Day Dash

The Issaquah Schools Foundation invites the community to participate in its inaugural Mother's Day Dash on Saturday, May 11 in Issaquah. The casual, community oriented 5K fun is a perfect opportunity for families to engage in a healthy activity, celebrate moms and raise money for Issaquah School District students. In honor of the Boston Marathon, the Foundation will donate $1 from each entry fee to The One Fund for those most affected by the tragedy. Local businesswoman Christine Kipp of Ewing & Clark is also contributing $2 for each entrant--$1 to the Foundation and $1 to The One Fund. She challenges other businesses to join her.

The Mother's Day Dash begins and ends at Sports Authority on Gilman. Race start is 9 am. Entry fee for adults and children 11 is older is $25 and includes a SportTech T-Shirt. The fee for children $10 an under is $8, which also includes a T-Shirt. The deadline to guarantee receipt of a T-Shirt is Friday, April 26. Online registration is open through Friday, May 10.
