Community Corner

Project SWIRL, The artEAST Annual Art Center Benefit

artEAST Art Center celebrates its 2nd birthday on Saturday, November 3rd at 6pm with a party themed “Project SWIRL”, a runway auction filled with art, art escapades, travel adventures, and more.  The festive atmosphere includes splendid food, wine and artful energy.  Both silent and live auction elements will present collectable art works and art experiences from artEAST members and guest artists.  The event will be hosted at the Hilton Garden Inn, 1800NW Gilman Blvd, Issaquah.

As a nonprofit arts organization based in Issaquah, artEAST works tirelessly to create an engaging community gathering place for teaching, exhibiting, and marketing art. They produce a wide array of community-focused events, including Art Alley during Art Walk season, many free public art openings, artist talks, art receptions and art docent support programs for local school districts.  artEAST is dedicated to fostering the power of art to create and transform communities. While powered by extraordinary volunteer energy, artEAST is critically dependent on the financial support of the community it serves, and calls on you to help it remain a viable resource for community enrichment.

The runway auction fundraiser is a great way for art patrons to support artEAST.  Attend the event and bid on wonderful art and art experiences while enjoying the zany live auction hosting talents of Pat and Chris Cashman.  Project Swirl tickets are $100 advance purchase or $500 for front row seating for four with special treats.
