Sammamish resident Mark Madgett, Managing Partner of the Seattle General Office of New York Life Insurance Company, has joined the board of The Moyer Foundation, a nonprofit supporting children and teens grieving a loss.
Mr. Madgett, who has been with the company for 25 years, has been esteemed by industry organizations including GAMA and NAIFA. A graduate of St. Mary’s College in California, he currently resides in Sammamish with his wife, Lizanne.
Beginning in 2008, when the New York Life Foundation expanded its focus to include childhood bereavement, the company has been leading efforts to broaden the national discussion on this topic. As part of that effort, New York Life often holds discussions on childhood bereavement with experts and educators and will hold its next Twitter Chat on Thursday, February 7 at 5 PM Eastern Time/2 PM Pacific Time.
