Apna Bazar to Open Soon in Sammamish
Indian grocery store anticipates December opening

Apna Bazar, an Indian Grocery Store with locations in Bellevue and Bothell, likely will open its new location at the Sammamish Highlands Shopping Center, located at 630 228th Ave NE, in mid- to late-December.
Though an exact date hasn’t been set yet, Hemant Sudiwala, one of the managers at the Bellevue location, said the store will likely be ready to open before the end of the year.
Sudawila said the new location is in large part in response to customer requests for a store closer to home.

“We have a lot of clients coming from that area,” Sudawila said.
Apna Bazar sells groceries that are used in Indian cuisine, including fresh vegetables, an array of spices, plus pre-made fare such as frozen curries and samosas. The store also carries international movies.
