Arrest Made In Hit-And-Run Killing Of Kevin Loyoza

Police arrested a 15-year-old on Wednesday in connection with the hit-and-run in Issaquah in May.

ISSAQUAH, WA - State police announced Wednesday night that officers had arrested a 15-year-old boy in connection to the May hit-and-run killing of Kevin Loyoza. Loyoza, 21, was leaving a party early in the morning on May 28 when he was hit along Southeast 53rd Street while walking with friends.

The 15-year-old was taken to the juvenile detention center in Seattle on Wednesday. On June 2, police found the SUV - a Jeep Grand Cherokee - that was likely used to kill Loyoza. The Jeep was found down side of an embankment along SR 900 near Issaquah.
