Return of the Librarian: Free homework help at the Sammamish and Issaquah Libraries!

The librarians in Sammamish and Issaquah will happily help you find three books on women's new roles during fill-in-the-blank-War, or something like The Hunger Games to read, 'cause you've already read it.  But we have other folks to help with actual homework.  Even (gasp) higher math.  And science.  Our wonderful Study Zone volunteers brighten Sammamish on Mondays, 4-6pm, and Wednesdays, 6-8pm.  At Issaquah, you'll find tutors on Wednesdays and Thursdays, 4-6pm, as well as Saturdays, 12-2pm.  Call the libraries if you've got a specific need, since some tutors are more accomplished in certain subjects, although any tutor should be able to help grades K-6.  Or visit http://www.kcls.org/studyzone/ for more information.

Or, you can use another online service the library subscribes to, Tutor.com, by going through http://www.kcls.org/research/homework/tutoring.cfm. Students in grades K-12, entry level college and adult learners can receive specialized one-on-one tutoring help in the areas of math, science, English and social studies. This service is also available in Spanish (en Espanol).

Professional tutors are available online from 2pm-Midnight, 7 days a week.

Do yourself a favor.  If you need help with calculus, ask which Study Zone tutor can best assist.  Or go online.  Don't, for both our sakes, ask me to squint at those figures on the page.  I haven't even touched Algebra since 1992, although I will gladly show you where the math books hide out at the library. 

You don't have to know everything; you just need to know where to find it (or who to ask).
