Budding Young Artists at The Goddard School Work to Raise Money for Ben's Fund

Seattle-Area Preschoolers Auction Their Art for Charity

This year’s emerging young artists at The Goddard Schools throughout the Seattle-Area put their work on the auction block with 100 percent of the proceeds benefiting Ben’s Fund, an organization that provides families with financial assistance for services specifically related to autism spectrum disorder treatments.

The Goddard Schools throughout the Seattle-Area have raised nearly $25,000 this year to support Ben’s Fund. This brings the market’s 7-year span of art auctions to a total of over $95,000 in donations for local charities, Ben’s Fund and Seattle Children’s Hospital.

Instilling an appreciation for art in young children encourages imagination and creativity, as well as provides a foundation for thinking critically about design. Equally important, teaching children about helping people in need inspires them to develop a foundation of compassion and cooperation. Our art auction offers an incredible opportunity to reinforce these important learning initiatives while also giving back to the community.
