Chase Involving Stolen Kent Police SUV Ends Along I-90

ISSAQUAH, WA — A woman led police on a long chase from Kent to near Issaquah early Friday morning after she stole an officer's police cruiser.

The incident began near 2:30 a.m. at Kentridge High School when an officer tried to stop a man and woman who were found hanging out there. They took off running, and the woman ended up jumping in the officer's SUV and driving off, according to Kent police.

The woman led officers all the way to Snoqualmie Pass before she headed back west. The chase ended around 4:30 a.m. at the intersection of I-90 and SR 18 when the woman crashed with a semi.

No one was hurt during the chase, and the woman was taken into custody.
