City Of Issaquah: Upcoming Work: Highlands Drive Water Main Installation

The City of Issaquah is currently constructing a booster pump station, which will provide a redundant option for delivering drinking water to the Issaquah Highlands (including more than 5,000 residents) and Swedish Hospital, which serves as a critical care facility.

As part of the project, the City is installing water lines along Highlands Drive Northeast from the pedestrian tunnel (near Interstate 90) to Northeast Discovery Drive.

Day Work - Starting Monday, Oct. 11 and running for approximately one week, work crews will be installing water main on Highlands Drive from 7 a.m.- 6 p.m. During working hours, there will be two lanes south bound open to traffic and no impacts to north bound traffic.

Night Work - Starting Monday, Oct. 18 and for approximately three nights, work crews will be completing the construction of the water main from 7 p.m.-7 a.m. During working hours, there will be one lane south bound open to traffic and no impacts to north bound traffic.
