Reichert has drawn criticism for declining to hold an in-person town hall event, as other members of Congress have. On Monday, a group held an "empty chair" town hall for Reichert in Cashmere to draw attention to his refusal to meet with them.

Before Thursday's Facebook town hall, protesters from labor unions will gather outside Reichert's Issaquah office to draw attention to major changes to the Affordable Care Act - also called Obamacare - proposed by Republicans. When members of Congress return to work next week, changes to the ACA will be at the top of their agenda.
