Costco's Craig Jelinek Makes List Of 100 'Best' CEOs
The job rating site Glassdoor has released its annual ranking of best companies to work at, including some in Puget Sound.

ISSAQUAH, WA - Predictably, a number of high-profile Puget Sound companies made Glassdoor's 2017"100 Best Places to Work" list. But more interesting, there are a few high-profile local companies that did not make the list.
Microsoft was technically the highest on the list at No. 39, but Google and Facebook (Nos. 1 and 5, respectively) have offices in the area. Seattle's Protiviti, Redmond's SpaceX, Zillow, and REI, headquartered in Kent, rounded out the top five local companies on the list.
Absent from the list? Amazon, Costco, Nordstrom, and Weyerhaeuser. Ballard's Gravity Payments, the company that increased minimum wage to $70,000 for all employees, didn't make the list either.

Bellevue's T-Mobile came in at No. 79, but CEO John Legere was ranked No. 20 on a list of best CEOs to work for. Expedia's Dara Khosrowshahi, Zillow's Spencer Rascoff, Costco's Craig Jelinek, Blake Nordstrom, and REI's Jerry Stritzke also made the top 100.
Here's where local companies landed on the list:
